Magnolia Flavor House

When going to Robinsons Magnolia do not forget to visit Magnolia Flavor House. You will surely drool over the ice creams they offer. They have like an "open kitchen" because you can see how they prepare their sundaes. Really nice to look at. Makes you look forward to your dessert.

We were both still full but we wanted to eat something sweet so we ordered just one sundae.

As soon as we saw this, we knew what we were going to get. MANGO ROYALE!!!

So this is Magnolia's Mango Royale. Just by the looks of it you know that this is one hell of a dessert. Crushed Grahams at the bottom, mango flavored ice cream and mango slices on top. Looks so yummy, right? And of course it did not disappoint. The mangoes were sweet. I must say that the mango-graham combo never gets old. This is a CRAVE HIT! A must try :)

The Red Crab: Alimango House @ Venice Piazza, Taguig

For our first visit together in Venice Piazza we went to The Red Crab for dinner. We were thinking if we will choose Old Vine, Amici or this one. Finally we picked the place that would satisfy our cravings for seafood. :)

Once inside I instantly noticed how the place looked like a gallery. There was even a mural full of sea creatures  on the far end wall which bore the lyrics of a famous Filipino children's song about crabs.

Tong, tong, tong, tong, pakitong-kitong, alimango, sa dagat, malaki at masarap, mahirap mahuli sapagkat nangangagat..
We ordered a set meal good for 3-4 persons. It already has rice, crab, squid, chicken, tilapia, okra, talong and itlog na pula. It also comes with a pitcher of iced tea all for Php1,088 pesos only. The major disappointment for us is the absence of prawns in the mix.

So this was our dinner for that day. In the menu it said that it was good for 3-4 pax but I am pretty sure that it is not because we ate everything (we are both girls) except for the chicken. They had thrown a very generous serving of rice which is for sure good for 3-4 people but the seafood was just enough for the two of us. Despite this, we actually find their seafood yummy!!! Everything was grilled to perfection and their rice was also good specially with strips of green mango and onions on the side. This is definitely a HIT!!!

It may look disgusting to you but this is our proof that this set meal is not good for 3-4 people. We almost emptied the bilao if not for the rice, chicken and talong.
